About Us
Funky Farm was established in 2013 by owner - Michelle Bell along with her husband Charles and son Tristen. Funky Farm received its name due to the wide variety of rescued exotics, farm animals and of course our beloved huskies. In 2016, the farm was relocated to the base of the Whetstone and Mustang Mountains in Southern Arizona. This was the perfect setting to raise our Siberian Huskies due to the cold winter temperatures and light summer temperatures that the high desert offers. We built a custom home with all of our animals in mind. There is a zoo quality wing for our reptiles, a state of the art welping room for the huskies, and double fencing to keep everyone safe on the farm.
In 2020, Funky Farms began to breed AKC certified Siberian Huskies, this had been a plan of ours for over 10 years. We were looking for just the right line of Huskies. The first ever Funky Farm litter started with dam: Saphira and sire: Takanni. The litter exceeded our families expectations for quality and personality. Now Funky Farm puppies are scattered from the deserts of Arizona, to the grassy fields of the East Coast. Our puppies are an extension of our family, if you are adopted by one of our pups, you are considered part of our family for life.
Today, we are continuing to improve our beautiful 5 acres of high desert with all of our animals in mind. Our motto is and will always be, "What is in the best interest of our animals"!
